Comedian and presenter Mo Gilligan has reportedly proposed to his girlfriend Taia Tulher, who is expecting their first child together. The news comes only weeks after the TV star confirmed he had quietly become a father to a son with a former partner.
Gilligan, 37, and Tulher, 28, have been dating for two years and live together in London. Sources close to the couple say they are “over the moon” about starting a family, though they are keeping wedding plans on hold for now.

According to reports, Gilligan made a full effort with the proposal but chose to keep the moment private. Tulher has since been spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger in Instagram posts, prompting speculation among fans.
A source told The Sun: “Mo went the full nine yards when he proposed but didn’t want to make a fuss about it publicly. They’ve told family and friends and everyone is delighted. They’re in love, excited about the baby, and happy building their life together. For now, their focus will be on becoming parents.”

The engagement comes just weeks after Gilligan confirmed he has a son, Rudi, with his ex-partner Selina Christoforou, 35.
Rudi was born in January 2024, though Gilligan had kept the news private until August this year. After mounting speculation, he shared a black-and-white Instagram video showing himself and his son playing Connect Four. The boy’s face was covered with a heart emoji, and Gilligan paired the clip with Drake lyrics: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world / I was hidin’ the world from my kid.”
Friends say he sees his son “semi-regularly” and remains involved despite the split.
Taia’s Pregnancy Announcement
Tulher, a model and wellness influencer, revealed she was pregnant in March with a poetic Mother’s Day Instagram post. She wrote: “Today, I carry the love that made me… and the love I’ve only just begun to understand.” At the time, she didn’t confirm Gilligan was the father, though fans speculated.
